MS Disability Assumptions Inventory

The MS Disability Assumptions Inventory comprises 31 statements that reflect your opinions about your having disabling MS. Each asks you to judge the extent you agree with the statement from "Not At All" to "A Lot." Total scores will vary from 0 (if you answered "Not At All"to each of them) to 93 (if you answered "A Lot" to each of them). The lower your total score the better, meaning the greater your freedom from debilitating disability assumptions. CIRCLE ONE OF THE FOUR ALTERNATIVES UNDERNEATH EACH STATEMENT.

TAKE IT NOW AND RETAKE IT PERIODICALLY as you learn (if you have the multiple sclerosis depresssion workbook) to question and challenge the misery-generating disability assumptions depressing you. By retaking it as you proceed through the book, you'll be able to judge overall (as your total score lowers) how much you are improving. As well, you'll be able to evaluate how your ratings change to each particular statement. Your objective is to move from individual statement-ratings of 3 and 2("A Lot"and"Moderately") to those of 1 and 0("Somewhat"and"Not At All")
